Newmanoids

Okay everyone, this is our first blog! Once I get better at this, it might improve but for now, this is it!

Here's a basic rundown of the Newmanoids.

Ken and Norma are the parents.

Ken is part owner of Newman Wood Systems. Norma is part owner of Promenade, a formal dress company.

Devon, our oldest son, and Jessi, his wife, have been married for two years now. In fact tomorrow is their anniversary! July 20.

Before Devon got married he went to Novosibirsk, Russia for his mission. Met Jessilynn Sandquist here in Riverton. Graduated Riverton high school with several track records, and a presidential scholarship to Weber.

Currently he's going to school at U of U learning mechanical engineering.

Jessi is going to school also, learning to become a teacher.

Craig, our second son, returned from his mission last month, from Kennewick, Washington. June 19. Also graduated Riverton high school.

Craig got his old job back working with Dustin Chaffin. He's working until he can get back into school. Before his mission he completed his associate of science degree at SLCC.

Craig hopes to get into the field of movie making, and become a director.

Danielle, our oldest daughter, just graduated from Riverton high school. She's preparing to go to Snow College and get her own apartment, with about five other girls.

Danielle got a dental assisting degree at SLCC while still in high school, and hopes to get a job with a dentist. She's hoping to go into the field of ASL, which is American Sign Language.

Danielle currently works at McDonalds to get money to pay for school.

Chelsea, our second daughter, recently aquired her driver's license. Chelsea is going into her Junior year at Riverton high school.

Chelsea loves to read, solve the Rubik's Cube, play piano, and do orgami.

Trevor, our middle son, is going into ninth grade, and will be starting Seminary.

Trevor will also be going on a Varsity camp here in a couple weeks. It's a hike and a bike ride, totaling 60 miles. We are trying to collect everything he will need.

Brayden, our fourth son, is going into Junior high this year. He's excited.

Brayden will be turning 12 on his birthday this Wednesday, July 23. He's also going on scout camp, the week after Trevor's camp.

Brayden is a natural at soccer, and last year Norma was his coach. He didn't play this year, but probably will next year.

Jason, our youngest son, is going into fourth grade. He's tall for his age, but really skinny. We try to get him to eat, but mostly we have to keep him out of the fridge and into real food!

Jason is going to Cub Country this coming Monday and Tuesday.

Jason also played soccer last year, and his aunt Kelene was his coach.

Jason got a dart in his eye when he was four, but currently he wears a contact lens, and his eye is doing really well. He sees 20/25 to 20/30. Better than some of his older siblings.

Aubrey, the youngest, and queen of the house. She knows how to boss everyone around. Even her oldest two brothers.

Aubrey's going into second grade this year. She really liked first grade.

Aubrey's personality has really grown since she's been in school. She's learning to be less shy around other people.
